Nice large apartment in a good location. Everything you need in the hotel complex. Large beautiful windows, although the construction on the street below affected the view a little, that was not the accomodation's fault. Bed was super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Large bathroom was nice

Walking distance to town. ( about 10 min). Bus stop just outside.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
I stayed in a regular room the first 3 nights which was simple but perfect for a solo traveler. I added a final night at the end of my stay but had to book the deluxe apartment because other rooms were books. Was a bit more than what I needed but such a big treat! I wish I could have stayed longer! Full kitchen, loft style bedroom, big comfortable living room with comfortable couch and a fireplace and lake view.
Also I left my converter/plug and the staff was very helpful and kept it for me so I was able to return for it on my way to the airport.

This was our fourth visit to Queenstown from Auckland, and the 3rd time staying at the Heritage Hotel. Because there are numerous road works around the town at present( May 2024) and also having to pay for parking everywhere we found it easier to go in by bus and leave the car at the Hotel which gave us more freedom to walk, sight see and get around.
There are an abundance of eateries around Queenstown. Pog Mahones Irish pub. Eriks fish and chips food truck, and of course the famous Fers burgers. A short drive by car or on the bus is the the new shopping centre at Franklin not far from the airport , which takes around 15 mins, where we had lunch at Billy`s cafe, and also lunch at the Coffee club.
In Queenstown, we took the Lunch time cruise on the Earnslaw steamboat up to Walter peak sheep station. Beautiful lunch and scenery.
walked around the Botanical gardens.
Its a lovely drive by car or bus to Arrowtown you can go one way and return via lake Hayes. While there pop into the Fork and tap pub.

The traffic management situation is problematic.
The traffic management situation is problematic. Queenstown seems to be overloved causing traffic issues which are exacerbated by road works all over the place. Don’t expect to solve the parking riddle easily.
Apart from these issues Queenstown is great place with great scenery and a good vibe.

Beautiful landscapes and scenery, lot of places to try different foods and activities to do and Queenstown is a stones throw away from the outer towns e.g. Cardrona, Wanaka, Cromwell, Arrowtown which we visited. Definitely worth a visit and the drive and scenary were spectacular. We went on two jet boat rides, to the Onsen Spas and up the Gondala for dinner at the Stratosphere Restaurant (food was great but it was very busy). Had our first Ferg Burger which was delish!! Overall, a great trip!!

We loved our 4 day trip to Queenstown, and the surrounding region, had a wander around Arrowtown, lunch at the Fork & Tap Pub was squid and cheeseboard was it was delicious. We caught up with family that have recently moved to Cromwell and loved seeing this area. We enjoyed a drive through to Wanaka around the stunning homes being built there, in the evening we enjoyed dinner at Blu Kanu, we had the chef selection and it was exceptional, we are still talking about it. We had lunch at Ayrburn at the Manure Shed (seriously) we enjoyed the wine tasting and another lovely cheeseboard, not as good as Fork & Tap, but still excellent and the surroundings are out of this world gorgeous We enjoyed a drive through to Glenorchy, we also had dinner at Botswana Butchery which always delvers an amazing level of service. A truely relaxing break away from Auckland. Even though our accommodation was not perfect, we were not there much and loved every minute in Queenstown.

I’ve been in Queenstown 3 times.
I’ve been in Queenstown 3 times. I can’t say enough about the beauty in its natural surroundings. It’s so beautiful in summer and autumn. Pick a nice apartment and stay for a week. You can take a walk along the lake, or rent a bike, or paddle in the lake. There are just too many ways to celebrate the beauty.
Avoid the tourist attractions and go to the off beaten tracks. Pack a picnic and sit under the sun for the fresh air. Queenstown is everything you want.
These apartments are so well located. You can leave you car and walk easily into the centre of Queenstown, but they are far enough away from the noise of the town/nightlife. The apartment is more like a townhouse with bedrooms on upper and lower levels and a very spacious kitchen and separate living area. The apartment was very clean and had lots of facilities, including bathrooms for every bedroom. There is also a nice balcony at the back of the apartment looking over a little stream and up to the mountains.
This boutique guest house was incredible!
My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. The staff were amazing & extremely accommodating - from an early check in to overall service.
The location was fantastic as well. Queenstown is built on a hill. It was just 1 steep street to the city centre. Couldn’t have been easier to get to and from town.
The bed. We usually stay in mainstream hotels, but the mattresses are always terrible. Our room had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever stayed on.
the location very close to town,, stations,, restaurants, tour agency ,, shops, bus lane etc in short very accessible to everywhere just a walk distance.
and I like the fact that the pod is private
very clean and people stay in and staff are decent.. not as cheap as other hostel but the rate will meet your expectation.. still affordable.. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Queenstown
Great arrival at reception and lovely view from the room. The rooms are well setup and very comfortable. The central hotel areas have a really relaxing aesthetic with good use of dark colours and timber.
We liked that the hotel was slightly outside of Queenstown as it was nice and quiet but if you want to be a part of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown you might want to consider alternative options.
Accommodation meets the expectation as per price. It values for price. In this price you getting heated room, bathroom and free breakfast in queenstown , what else we need.
$100 for a nigh plus some bread, cereal, coffee ad toast plus wifi and free parking.
If somebody needs comfy beds, side table and luxury, this is not for them,
If you want better room facilities, book a hotel. It is motel
The #5 apartment was spacious but very dated i.e. a plastic couch, really cheap decor. In the bathroom, the tub should’ve had some kind of Slip guard and a bar to hold onto.
It was very convenient and kitchen well appointed, appliances cheap quality. Bed was very comfortable.
Good view of lake, but noisy with tour buses outside.
Definitely needs to be updated in terms of decor.
Overall we had a great time in this hotel. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant view and food is good. I want to comment the housekepeing team who make up our beds all the time and especially on 22nd December. Car parking is also covenient.
Our first time in Queenstown and we had a great time and I highly recommend this hotel.
I liked the view from the restaurant - very peaceful, sauna facility, friendliness of most staff, accessibility of transport - ferry from hotel to town centre, overall good value for money (considering Queenstown can be very expensive), restaurant + breakfast buffet, air conditioning in the room - without it it would've been incredibly hot.
Great location in central Queenstown on the waterfront, can’t really ask for better. Exceptional service, at check in and check out, our room was ready early which was incredible. We had a really nice warm room with a comfy bed and a good view of the skyline, loved the balcony. Great parking options for a relatively cheap price.
Good location away from the hassle of the centre of town. The beds were really comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant and bar were reasonable offering good value. Although slightly out from the centre it’s just a 15=20 minute walk along the lake or a bus ride from the stop right outside the hotel.
Great location. Everything about the hotel is exceptional. Quality of facility, rooms, service, breakfast, cleanliness, all very good. Loved the complimentary cocktail hour every evening, great way to meet fellow guests over canapes and a glass (or two) of wine. The hotel is not cheap, but it is very good value!
My family and I ( 7 adults ) all loved our stay at the Bonailie Bothy .The house was situated well with stunning views. The amenities are of a very high standard and we all enjoyed a great nights sleep after our busy days sightseeing. I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Queenstown.
Great location, close to the centre of Queenstown. A good set up for our family of five, with a one bedroom apartment and adjoining hotel room which had two double beds. Staff were the most helpful and friendly that I have ever encountered.
Nice apartments had everything we need and very warm. Kind welcoming caring staff and owners. stunning views from our apartment of the snowy mountains, Queenstown town centre and lake. highly recommended and would stay here again.
The hotel was in a somewhat convenient location on the top of a steep hill just outside of the centre of town. The room was small and cosy with a decent shower. Breakfast was enjoyable. Overall a pleasant stay.
Nice to have a 4-5 star hotel in Queenstown that isn’t run down. Modern with a great location. One of the cheapest hotels which also included breakfast. Highly recommend.
