The room I was given had an adjoining door to the next room. The conversation from the other room was quite audible so I requested another room. The staff were very obliging and, without hesitation, upgraded me to a premium king with a lounge. Totally unexpected and I was most appreciative! Very comfy stay.

We would recommend staying at President Hotel Auckland to our family and friends. We purchased a Explorer bus ticket for 2 days hop on hop off. This was a great way of seeing some of the sights. Kiosk outside Sky Tower for purchasing tickets which we didn't know about until going down to Wharf.

The Central Business District of Auckland was great.
The Central Business District of Auckland was great. We spent 8 nights there right by the wharf. We enjoyed the city tours & the ferry service to the surrounding islands. We took a wine tasting tour to Waiheke Island that we really enjoyed using the ferry. We also took a sailboat tour of the harbor that let passengers steer the boat. Really a lot of fun. Tons of foods places of all types. Plenty of museums & parks.

Convent Hotel was a great place to stay in Auckland. The building and rooms are full of character and interesting decor. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom were well equipped with very good showers. The complimentary crisps etc were much appreciated and the free parking was a bonus. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and came to our aid by finding and looking after our pack of travel documents which we accidently left behind. With the city centre only a 10 minutes drive away this a lovely place to stay if you visit Auckland.
I had my own car and stayed twice for one night a week apart. I asked for a quiet room and was assigned the end room ’18’ which I thought was perfect. Clean with tv/wifi and kitchenette and large bathroom. Could park outside the door - a unique electronic patio door mechanism. Quiet neighborhood on wide, quiet collector road. 10 minutes from the airport on the way out and close to the cross-city freeway (tried to stay out of Auckland traffic as much as possible).
Great property close to the airport. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotels own shuttle service was great, called from the airport and picked up soon after and got dropped off at car hire the next morning. Friendly staff, will definitely stay here the next time we are passing through Auckland.
This is a good location providing airport transport for when you have to stay overnight in Auckland. A good tidy budget transit hotel. There were rooms with King size beds which was nice to have this option.
It's centrally and well located budget hotel in Auckland CBD. The bang of the buck is very good compared to fancy hotels near by. Rooms are simple but equipped with everything yo need.
