I like the fact that traveling to the accommodation is not complicated and not a lot of obstacles, and I like that it's convenient to travel, not having to go into a deep alley, right next to the main road. Get off at Ramkhamhaeng Airport Link and you'll arrive.

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.

Thai people are very gentle and polite.
Thai people are very gentle and polite. I like the rich religious atmosphere, with many Buddha statutes and pagodas all around the city where people stop and make offerings. Food is great. There are so many excellent hotels in affordable prices comparing to other Asian metropolitans. Double your calculated traffic time always if you stay in downtown Bangkok.

Bangkok is still living in the covid era. a full 80% of customer facing staff wear masks which is unacceptable and probably 60% of citizens wear them , land of smiles ? no land of masks ! it seems as if no maintenance has been done to street lights and many many shops boarded up. very sad and will not return ..... if you want to relive the unpleasant and wholly unnecessary covid lockdown............. then bankbook is the place. Suvarnabhumi airport is also falling apart. go to another counrty

My second visit to Bangkok and although I did trips every day, I felt there was a lot more to do. My trip to Thailand was 4 days in Bangkok and 6 days in Phuket. Guess I should have stayed 6 days in Bangkok instead. Easy to travel around from my hotel at Princess Pathuman and return safely. Did the hop on boat and did the temples. Went to the Ayutthaya, Bang Pa and a jungle walk, which was challenging. Lots more to see.

Bangkok is a big city, very much like NY or London, a lot...
Bangkok is a big city, very much like NY or London, a lot of sky scrapers and the roads and highways are huge. Difficult to get about if you haven't got transport, either your own or taxis. The central parts of Bangkok are the fullest and busiest, with the usual holiday attractions but remember the traffic is horrendous during peak times. I would recommend you stay close to central parts of Bangkok because the outer areas are mostly residential and not much happening and this way you won't have much travelling to do, unless you choose to. Popular areas are; Sukhumvit, Chatuchat weekend Market, Lumphini, Siam, Lat Phroa, Chinatown, Rattanakosin, amongst others.
Mostly the time spent in Bangkok is going to the malls,( there are many), food courts and the usual holiday attractions, but once you've covered the above, there's little left to do...I prefer staying in beach locations and visiting Bangkok... hope this helps
Hope you enjoy
The hotel is right beside Phaya Thai station, making it extremely convenient for the Airport Link and getting around the city. There's a cafe and massage center nearby, and a 7-11 is just across from the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The staff, particularly the bellboy, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. He went beyond his duties by assisting us with our heavy luggage after check-out, even taking it to the BTS station. We're sincerely thankful and would definitely choose Hotel Tranz again on our next visit to Bangkok.
After straying at numerous hotels in Bangkok and Thailand in general, this is by far one of the best.
The staff are amazing - friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms are very modern with super comfy beds and decor. The location is amazing too, you are right next to the BTS and within walking distance of the malls and great places to eat.
The facilities are great with a shared space for you to work, cook and a socialise.
I'll definitely be coming back next time I am in Bangkok. Thanks for a great stay!
We stayed in the Berkeley in London and expected probably same and more for the Bangkok Berkeley, as all our hotels were already very nice. But this is plain standard hotel without Thai touch in fact. But nice area, very spacious room, clean, but to common.
Breakfast is amazing what they offer, but is so crowdy and noisy to eat.
Friendly staff.
Amazing beautiful pool. large pool, so you can actually swim. (pity that pool is closed in the late evening, like in many hotels in THailand.)
This hotel is simply amazing. Very new, very modern, very comfortable and still stylish and authentic. And most importantly, the staff does such a great job! The people there are very friendly and helpful. This in one of the best hotels I stayed at in my life, and the price is very reasonable, too. The location is good, too - it is located in a calmer part of Bangkok, you have many restaurants, and it is also near the Khaosan Road.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Walkable to airport directly from hotel via escalator and airbridge. Car rental on the way into the hotel (super convenient). Beautiful swimming pool, gym. Incredible and varied breakfast buffet with fresh fruit/vegetables, and generally all kinds of foods. Spacious and clean room with nice bathroom and comfortable bed. The north side of Bangkok can be explored from here (e.g., Ayutthaya).
Okay, so I did enjoy this hotel, however, I stayed here towards the end of my holidays and found that the quality of the hotel differed significantly from the standard that I had come to expect of hotels in Bangkok and Thailand in general. The good points were the outstanding roof side pool, the gym and the hospitality.
Also it was well located in terms of things to do, markets, Siam Paragon etc etc.
I like the location of 4m pratu nam hotel. Near to 7E, BTS Phaya Thai station, pratunam market, a lot of massage service shop and some mall. Just walking distance. Also, u can buy some souvenir at hotel. The staffs so helpful. They help me to booking taxi to transfer from hotel to airport. And allowed me to check in early. Will repeat stay here if i go to Bangkok again. Very recommended
All the staff are very friendly and accomodating, we started our stay here for the first part of our trip before travelling to other parts of Thailand across a mix of resorts, private villas and hotels. Sivatel was one of our top 3 stays and if we visit Bangkok in the future we would come back. The rooms are clean and spacious and overall facilities are well maintained.
The rooms were a bit old and tired but still it was a nice suite.
Rooms were kept clean and no bugs unlike some other hotels in Thailand
Location was good, beside a large park and close to the social areas of Bangkok
Staff all friendly
The room card had credit on it for vending machines with was a nice touch
The shop in the lobby is useful
Fantastic new hotel - the room of a great size for the price was well decorated and super comfortable; hotel facilities were great (gym, rooftop bar). Location was fantastic; inside a mall and opposite a bigger one. Super well connected to the main areas of Bangkok. Great stay
A general compliment to the reception, lounge and housekeeping staff. Always polite, solution-oriented, highly professional. After visiting other hotels in Bangkok in the last 12 months, this is one of the better ones, especially in terms of quality/price ratio.
Excellent pre-arrival communication and front office staff. Professional, helpful and very friendly! The beds are among the best in Bangkok( we’ve experienced most high end 5 star hotels). Crisp and extremely comfortable with high quality linens and pillows.
Location. It in Pratunam area which is the heart of Bangkok. It all within walking distance to Central World, Platinum mall and also the train station to the Airport. The is a 7-11 just next to the Hotel. And also many eatery nearby.
It truly is a luxurious hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We loved the breakfast buffet. It was especially awesome that we were able to store some bags at the concierge office for our excursion to southern Thailand.
Friendly staff and info provided how to reach the hotel prior of arrival.
Price per night.
Location 10min walk to Phaya Thai BTS and ARL.
Great for reaching the airport via ARL and the rest of Bangkok with BTS.
One of the best hotels we have been staying in Bangkok. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the location is perfect for sightseeing trips and at the same time very close to local stores and restaurants.
