Great location and fabulous room (top floor with balcony). The two ladies in reception were lovely - showing much patience and humour with my attempted Portugese. Bike was stored safely. Breakfast was great. Great stay / made by the reception ladies. ❤️

I went in the off-season and did not go to the casino.
I went in the off-season and did not go to the casino. The incredibly large beach made for great walking. The boardwalk and the promenade were excellent for walking, too. Not a hilly town, per se. And I don't think i would care for high summer season. Uber is easily available and taking the train to / from Coimbra was inexpensive and easy.
I am a serious walker (average 6-8 miles a day) so I found the town easy to navigate.

We spent most of our time close to the Hotel and at Praia da Claridade/ Praia Alto do Viso.
Since it was just one night, we couldn't bring a lot of comments to this.
Nevertheless, we walked thru the night and we had dinner at Feito ao Bife, which is a very nice meat place, where you can eat different types of meat on the stone.
People from Figueira are very kind and warm.
They offer a lot of services and there is as well a Casino if you like to try your luck.
The city in a half season is quite easy to walk or drive.

Figueira da Foz seems to be a working town, not too much of a tourist town. Although it was not beach season and the beach was fog covered, it was very large and beautiful. We found some very good restaurants with traditional Portuguese food.

We loved Fig da Foz!
We loved Fig da Foz! A fairly quite resort town, just what we like! The only drawback is a pulp or paper mill located south of town. When the fog comes in so does the smell of the mill. We would consider living here if the mill is not a huge problem.

I was there in September and it was already dead.
I was there in September and it was already dead. Loads of things closed.
It's pleasant enough with good public amenities but there really isn't anything to do except explore the excellent beach.
Getting around without a car can be a challenge: the station is 25 minutes from the beach and although quite a few buses go to the market (much fewer to the beach) it's close to impossible to find out about them.
I hardly ever saw a taxi.
The best bit for me was lunch at the excellent Cafe Praca 18.

The Claridade Beach is the best place I have visited in Figueira da Foz, lots of seafood and restaurants near by. Jet7.5 near Praça do Forte is a great restaurant with live music! Worth to have a try. I quite enjoy walking by the beach, so all my visit was on foot.

What a fabulous hotel. From the moment we checked in, the man on reception (didn’t catch his name), was so kind and let us check in early which was amazing.
The decor, service and cleanliness was fabulous. The bed was so comfy and the shower was amazing. Lovely ladies in reception let me borrow an umbrella for the rain and we got a late check out from the man in the morning which was so lovely as we were in the bike race. Thank you so much once again and we will be back.
Great location. Even though this hotel does not have its private parking, it proved very easy to find a spot in its immediate proximity.
The welcome by the hotel manager was brilliant; it is always a pleasure to meet such a nice person.
The room was perfect for our needs; not big but very comfortable and spotless clean with its en-suite bathroom.
Breakfast was very generous and excellent...
All in all, this is undoubtedly a 10 out of 10!
We will be back !!
I like everything about this hotel, from the minute I arrived until I left two days later, the experience all over was very good. The friendly host, great sense of humor, helpful and always available at the front desk. The room has a friendly cosy atmosphere and vibe, also clean and bed comfortable. Small bathroom but everything you need. The location also very central and close to beach and good restaurants.
Natalie and Anthony were wonderful and friendly. They couldn't have been more accommodating during our stay. Their guesthouse and gardens are beautiful (we stayed in the outside self-contained accommodation) and felt like a little oasis. Favourite stay of our 2 week holiday in Portugal. Highly recommend. We'd come back to Figueira Da Foz just to stay there again.
The location is like a hotel with several rooms and a common area with a kitchen. There's no services from the staff apart from the general cleaning. That's odd but also nice since you'll meet the other guests.
The beach is the main thing, very close and really nice. Getting out of the little village (no ATM and only small mini markets) needs a car.
I am so impressed with the constant care and concern from the staff. They have gone above and beyond to make my stay as delightful as possible. I only speak English, so they have gone the extra mile to communicate with me. I cannot say enough good about this hotel.
Everything was really good as always. The pool and views of the ocean are great! Breakfast is pretty good, however they just need better coffee in the hotel bar, don't waste your money on it :) They only give you one capsule in the room per day so drink it wisely :)
Nice quiet location within 1km of the beach. Carla was a cheerful welcome and breakfast help. It was quiet, and although the rooms are not soundproof, the other guests and hotel settled down reasonably early. Summer may be different.
The room was very spacious and the balcony amazed us with the ocean views. It is wonderful to spend a weekend by the sea. The hotel is very near the restaurant area in Figueira da Foz, the Forte and Farol.
The suite was huge and had a wonderful terrace to watch the ocean from. The bed was super comfortable. Waking up to the view from the 14th floor was amazing. Stay here. It's cheap and great!
Friendly staff, super comfortable beds, very clean in the room and throughout the hotel, and dog friendly. The location couldn't be better and especially for the value.
Hotel with very nice balcony just across the street from a large expansive beach. Room had plenty of space. Beautiful lobby and delicious breakfast. Centrally located.
Lovely frontline hotel more like an apartment (well it had no facilities) with lovely views
Limited car parking but managed to get a parking space right on the hotel
