Beautifully restored building; wonderful staff; gorgeous room; lovely swimming pool; perfect breakfast. Plus love the fact that Covilha is a 'swifts' town and the air was full of these beautiful birds :-)

Hotel is in middle of the centre, personnel is very friedle and helpful. Parking place opposite of the hotel and hotel has a good restaurant.
Located just a 10-minute drive from Serra da Estrela Ski Resort, the Luna Hotel Serra da Estrela provides a ski school and year-round outdoor sporting activities.
Superbly located in the Serra da Estrela Mountains with panoramic views over Cova da Beira valley, this mountain resort features a unique architecture with modern décor and an outside pool.
An amazing small city located on a mountain. The city is separated into an older part and a more modern part which is located at the lowest part of the mountain. The city has a plethora of murals and street art and you can download a dedicated application where you can find where all the murals are located and have a self-tour. The old part of town has amazing buildings and you can get lost by walking in the small traditional streets. The restaurants are of high quality and all the food we tasted was simply amazing. I will definitely be coming back :)

Unfortunately when we were there for a 3 night stay the weather was poor on two of the days so I might say the stay was too long. Didn't visit the city at the base of the mountain. The village where the chalets are situated was very quiet with not much going on, we spent most of the spare time in the hotel which was nice.

The Pousada is perfect for a relaxing break. The views are incredible. The service is very good, made to feel welcome. You need to drive back down the mountain for restaurants etc but the Pousada has everything you want. The air is fresh and all you can hear are the birds, superb.

A great city to use as a base to visit nearby mountains and go hiking. Also, if it's the right season for cherries, head to the market and get some. This area is home to the famous Cerejas da Gardunha you see in every supermarket in Portugal :)

O’Serrano de Repleto de Magia was fantastic for dinner!!! Covilha otherwise is a lovely, slightly sleep city in the off season filled with very friendly talkative locals. Free parking at the city square until December 2020 so that was great!

Very friendly people.
Very friendly people.
Usually we used to eat at the mall, but since it was locked down (it reopened monday the 1st June) this time we tried the pizzeria just in front of the mall and it had nice pasta and pizza.
We had lunch too at Manteigas, and it was great.
Yes, it is easy to get around Covilhã.
We recently spent 3 nights at the Pena D'Agua while touring Portugal, and the stunning Serra Da Estrela national park which the hotel is located close to. The hotel’s tasteful decor and cleanliness, plus the friendliness of the staff impressed us. The rooms were impeccably maintained, and the overall ambiance was inviting. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for beautiful, clean, and good priced accommodation. Also, a special thank you to Carlota for going out of her way to help us when we had car issues.
The hotel was very acomodating when we requested a crib for our baby. Room size was good, it fit the crib well and still had space to move around. There was a mini-fridge in the room which was great for our needs.
Gluten-free breakfast was provided and staff was always helpful, considering my dietary restrictions.
Unfortunately we couldn´t enjoy the facilities (spa, pool) and had to leave earlier than planned due to our baby and getting sick but the staff was very helpful.
The hotel is well located, the rooms are spacious enough to sleep and beds comfortable. Lounges are good to chill and watch TV or play games. I liked the kids room although I feel there could be more toys available. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the breakfast, it had plenty of choice and was delicious.
The personnel and the owner himself are very welcoming. The hotel is situated right in the city center, but it is calm area, there's no noise during the night. The room was clean and breakfast was tasty. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there next time I go to Covilha.
This is a nice hotel, located near Covilhã. It offers several amenities and has a rather pompous look, but it does not provide much more than that. This building is an old sanatorium. Although refurbished, the "energies" in the air are not so good.
The hotel met all our expectations, excellent location, great atmosphere, large and clean room, indulgent breakfast,
The design is amazing, the hostess is welcoming and pleasant
we had a great time, we would highly recommend it, thank you
Wonderful mountain top spa hotel with spectacular views of the Serra. Exceptional customer service from incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Warm and comfortable, beautifully furnished. Outstanding breakfast and dinner.
The apartment is very good with a lot of space and everything was very clean. The building is new and in a great location, with a lot of parking around. I would definitely recommend this place if you are going to Covilhã.
The hotel is located in close proximity to the center of the city. Most of the staff are always helpful and try to accommodate the needs of the customers. The room was spacious with adequate natural lighting.
I liked it was clean and in good location. There was a balcony and good bed. The ceiling was rather high, so the room was spacious. Design of villa is good and people are nice.
Modern hotel with pretty standard services. Good room , good but hard bedgood pillow. Great bathroom. Good elevator. Easy access by car. Good breakfast.
