Breakfast both mornings of our 2 night stay was lovely. Full Irish well cooked, plenty of tea and toast/coffee and cereals etc. Servers were friendly and polite and service was prompt.
The hotel is excellently located in the town centre of Clifden and public car parking is available on the street outside and is free between 7pm and 9am.
Rooms are basic but shower pressure was good.

There is so much to see.
There is so much to see. I'm a walker and we were able to access many great walks - mountain, sea and forest walks. We had a car to get to locations. Good location for exploring Connemara. Fabulous scenery. Plenty places to eat in the evenings.

Cliftden was great with plenty of places to eat and drink. There is a very well stocked supermarket in the town and the surroundings were very clean and well maintained. Getting a local taxi was a bit of a problem so we had to drive everywhere, which didn't allow us to have a drink in the town as our accommadation was about 3 miles outside the village.Patrick

The Irish breakfast was absolutely delicious (probably the best we had in Ireland) and the staff went above and beyond in serving. Easy walk into town for dinner and shopping. Spent our first two nights in Ireland here and thoroughly enjoyed. Took a day trip to Inishbofin which we highly recommend. It's a ferry ride away.
