Pretty town and easy to get to other places. However, we were turned away from visiting the Cathedral by one of the organisers of the Flower Festival where the event was taking place. We were taken back by the brash man who said he was trying to get other worshippers out so they could organise flowers.....
No wonder people are leaving religious buildings and moving towards home worship....

Fascinating and beautiful cathedral.
Fascinating and beautiful cathedral. The art collection at the Pallant gallery was impressive, though no concessions on tickets for pensioners. Fishbourne Roman Palace was impressive . We loved the atmosphere and architecture of the city centre. Great Waterstones for browsing and lots of good places to eat. We had a delicious salad at Côte. The museum was packed so we didn’t linger long but it looked worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do.
Absolutely fabulous place. Lot's to see and do. The cathederal is wonderful as is the canal boat trip. If you like food then there's lots of restaurants here. We visited 4 and they were all good especially Purchases on North Street which was exceptional. There is also a lovely walk around the city on the historical city wall pathway.

We only had a very short trip and could have stayed much longer and done so much more, we thoroughly enjoyed what we did do though. The Bishops Palace garden is beautiful and well worth a visit, we also enjoyed Fishbourne Roman Palace, which is really interesting and has some beautiful gardens and mosaics. Sadly it rained a lot and we couldn't do some of the things we had planned, maybe next time. We visited Tinwood vineyard on our way home and had a delicious lunch and bought some lovely sparkling wine to take home.

Where do I start! The room was beautiful and excellent value for money. The views and location truly amazing! I have stayed here before but only seem to be able to manage night at a time as I am always travelling. Would love to spend a week here!

Comprehensive shopping and eateries - we found the people really lovely, chatty and happy to help. So much history, lots to see. You must visit Luckes - independent, fabulous food, lovely staff. The Real Eating company - really good coffee, lovely staff. Our first experience was a bit unfortunate but the manager and staff were quick to respond and rectify that - highly recommend them - they have two venues in Chichester.
A very comfortable holiday let in a wonderful location--very close to Chichester, yet definitely out in the country. Near a great pub at Dell Quay. Well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for meal prep. Comfy beds, cozy living space, great shower. Jack's a terrific host--easy to get in touch with and very responsive. This was the second time I've stayed at Quay Quarters, and I'll be back the next time I'm in Chichester.
Was expecting a proper Breakfast to be honest but it was just cereals and fruit etc. If you wanted a full English or eggs, you need to go to shop to buy these. Location was a mile walk from Chichester town centre. Good area and parking is outside. Just need to give car registration to the owner to cover permit. Owner was welcoming and showed us around the B&B.
Good central location in Chichester and just a short walk from the train station. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Being in the town centre, everything you need is close by. Didn't stay for breakfast, as I had to leave early (my fault lol), but the fact it was included in the price means that the hotel offers very good value for money in this day and age.
The location of the property on the high street was great for a base for exploring the town centre. Whilst the hotel doesn’t have parking there was a public car park just 5 mins walk away which was reasonably priced and always plenty of space to park.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The weekend was absolutely great. Breakfasts at Number 19 were next level, varied each day with the finest ingredients and ideas. We were literally in culinary heaven. The house was impeccably clean with parking in the centre of Chichester. The host Julia is just marvellous. To sum it all up, we would definitely never ever stay anywhere else.
The East Walls hotel is a lovely old building and is decorated nicely. The location is brilliant, we were able to walk to everything we needed to in Chichester. The owners are welcoming, relaxed and very nice. They made a special effort for my husbands birthday which was much appreciated. The cooked breakfast was very good!
The hotel is on a quiet street, just a few blocks from the shopping center. It is beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast room with bright and airy. The breakfast menu had everything we wanted to eat. We highly recommend East Walls Hotel.
Mixed experience, this was our first stay in a Harbour hotel. Nice clean room, but on the small side. Lovely comfy bed and gorgeous bedding.
Sadly the spa is closed, but I had a massage treatment and it was fabulous.
We had two fantastic breakfasts, with fabulous attentive service.
Located in the grounds of the Cathedral in the centre of Chichester with parking included. The bed was really comfortable and the shower facility was excellent. Good range of drinks and snacks in the room. Great views of the city walls and the gardens
Gorgeous cottage in a lovely semi-rural location with spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet with a small verandah, perfect for a sunny evening.
Close to Chichester and Arundel, which are both nice to visit.
The apartment was very spacious with a large living area and bedroom. It was modern, good shower and it had everything you needed. It was a short taxi ride to Chichester town centre. There was an Aldi nearby (walkable).
Excellent location. Not far from the Cathedral. Everything within an easy reach. It is a beautiful, well maintained hotel. I have recommended it to my friends and family who live in England for a weekend break.
Having normally used hotels in this area for work this has a refreshingly home comfort feel you can't get in hotel. This property was spacious, immaculately clean, great value. I'm highly impressed.
Pleasant, helpful but unobtrusive staff.
Central location with parking
Breakfast cooked to order, but quick
Good background music at breakfast (not loud).
Clean.
