From the moment you arrive the service and the facilities are exceptional. Location couldn't be more beautiful and the grounds are impeccable. The restaurant food is absolutely first class and each dining experience was fantastic. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was! Surrounded by nature and situated right in front of Baepi Hill, Kalango Hotel Boutique is an eco-friendly hotel that features beautiful mountain views in Ilhabela Island. The entire place felt like a dream, surrounded by natuere. It is clean, the staff is amazing and alwaya ready to help with everything we needed. The pool is big, kept at a nice temperature and the bar by the pool has delicious snacks, finger foods and cocktails. Breakfast is also very good with a good variety of foods, fruits, breads and cakes ans gives us view to the pool and the woods, so it's also an amazing morning start. The room we stayed at had a jacuzzi, big bed and a great view to the pool and woods, we had room service when we asked for food and everything was perfect for out first couple travel. It is around 15-20min walk to the closest beach or a 5min ride. They provide us towels both for the poop and beach, they have a small shop with amenities and beachwear.

Absolutely beautiful hotel - super clean, so comfortable, staff were amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. Felt like a proper tropical paradise on the Island. A great location a few minutes taxi ride from the main towns. Superb views, and we loved the dock/jetty - we got a private boat tour and they were able to drop us off right at the hotel. Room was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, and we never struggled to get a table or a lounger by the pool on or on the beach. Felt quiet, private and romantic.
