It’s a beautiful city and is very walkable with beautiful architecture and great tapas. Lovely shops.
Only disappointing thing was that Zara floor staff are very rude. When you spend a lot of money over many years around the world at Zara, I think one is entitled to expect some
Charming & proud people, amazing Catalan-regional food, stunning architecture, impressive history, kind front-line people, sublime atmosphere, lots of tour options to choose from, great shopping, a true world-class City. Only negative is not enough TOILETS. Saw several people literally Peeing on trees/shrubs because no other options. Barcelona needs to figure this part out quickly. But, that being said, I would definitely go back again & again! Even in the rain, it was great!

All overpriced, unreasonable prices.
All overpriced, unreasonable prices. Sights collected immediately upon entry, although you do not know if you are interested in all attractions or events. The trip to Montserrat was a disaster, where we both on the way there and on the way back stood in an overcrowded and overpriced bus the whole way.
But what is a complete disaster are the toilets. When visiting the park, we spent 1/2 of the two hours. waiting in line for the toilet and I'd rather not write about the condition. If you happen to come across a public toilet, it's either closed or in such a state that you'd rather get a coffee in a restaurant and use their toilet, than your stomach should rise.
The highlight of the entire stay was the behavior of the control employee at the Familia Sagrada. I understand why monuments need to be protected and there are also undisciplined tourists, but her behavior was absolutely inadequate. She checked our rucksack and shuffled things (despite the fact that he passed the X-ray screening). When I asked her to put the things to sleep and close the rucksack, I didn't hand it to her like that, she started screaming at me and swearing at me in Catalan, although I politely asked her in English to please return the things the way I gave them to her .
We didn't even like the pleasant covers and signs in the subway, tourists, go home. We understand the problems of local residents, but tourists also bring jobs and income to local residents. Every situation has a solution, but not for tourists to worry about someone spitting on them on the street just because they don't like them. We have already visited several metropolises in Europe, but nowhere have we encountered such a feeling of unwillingness and even resistance.

Fantastic architecture and interesting well-kept medieval...
Fantastic architecture and interesting well-kept medieval historic city centre. Most top sights are within walking distance. City has plenty of good restaurants and bars, as well as plenty of tourist traps. Unfortunately, even casual tapas bars can be quite pricey and give you unpleasant surprise when you see the total on the cheque.
We booked this place last minute as our flight home was cancelled and we had a horrible experience the night before relying on the airline to book hotels. So we decided to go into Barcelona and book a last minute deal ourselves. We got an AMAZING deal in the suite on the top floor with a private roof top patio. Room was very cool. A more masculine/dark feel to it which was fine for us (two men) the patio was huge on the roof top. Over all couldn't have asked for a better spot for our bonus two nights in Spain.
I think I fell in love with Barcelona because of the hotel. As you know sometimes the accommodation can turn your experience either positive or negative about any city you visit. Luckily enough, Sercotel caspe was the best choice I have made among the recent hotels I have stayed at in my last trips. I like the location it is safe and within walking distance to everything. 20 minutes walking to city center .I also like the stuff they were nice and helpful.
Amazing hostel in the city centre. It’s close to everything and the metro station is just 3 minutes by walk. The stuff was lovely, I really liked the 24/7 reception where you can leave the keys... very appreciated especially when you travel with friend with different taste in night life :))) Very kind and helpful employees. Hotel is very clean and perfectly allocated. But be ready, it can be very noisy around... AS YOU ARE IN THE CENTER OF BARCELONA!
First of all, I would like to thank the friendly staff for a pleasant vacation. On vacation, the two most important things to me are a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. This hotel lived up to those expectations. The location of the hotel is ideal, a few minutes' walk from the metro station and the shopping center, a quiet part of Barcelona. The staff was really wonderful, we got a map of Barcelona and all the tips to get around the city.
Besides the facility been great, I want to give a special and well-deserved appreciation to the hotel staff especially señor Arian for being such an amazing person and tour guide too..
Señor Arian made the trip exponentially better, through his recommendations, advises and conversation I was able to experience Barcelona in a great light/way and as a result I'm very much excited to revisit Barcelona & Spain in the nearest future 🤗
It’s close to public transportation for getting to the airport or around Barcelona. It’s also within walking distance to plenty of things in the city center. Bathrooms were pretty clean and they had enough of them for the amount of people in the hostel. Decent common areas (not for socializing, but for sitting / eating). It’s not super cheap but it is less expensive than a lot of other hostels in Barcelona while still being clean
Staff were incredibly friendly. I came in very late, but staff was able to advice me, greeted me with great energy and support me with the questions.
Safe and amazing location.
Great facilities.
Best hostel I have been!!!
Honestly this was highlight of my trip. Compared to staff in other proper hotels in Spain rude and staff of this hostel were the best people ever!!! Honestly would come back again 100%!
Host - he waited for us even thou we had a late flight and there was a strike at airport and we meeded to wait gor our luggage
Location - close to thw Sagrada like 15 minute walk, it can be considered that you are in the city center
Barcelona - 😊
F1 - We went mainly there because of the F1 weekend , and that was a great experiance, I would recommend anyone that loves F1
The hotel it's absolutely beautiful and perfect, super clean and constable bed, breakfast it's just everything you would like and want. Hotel it's location it's just few minutes driving distance from city center and all the main attraction.. this will be definitely my to go hotel everytime I'm in Barcelona. And the staff super helpful and friendly.
Highly recommend.
Lovely and quiet place near square with supermarkets. Few minutes by walk to the Sants Barcelona where the train from the airport stops. Few minutes by walk to the Placa de las Cascades where you will enjoy Barcelona’s sunsets and also close to the city centre. Hotel staff was very frinedly which will make your stay really wonderful.
Barcelona is generally an expensive city and the price that I paid for this hotel was reasonable. Stuff was kind and helpful. The room was really clear. Hotel is not near to city center but there is a subway station near, you can go almost every where by metro. You should be willing to spend at least 30 min to go somewhere.
The hotel set up transport from Barcelona Airport to hotel. Price was excellent. Service was excellent. Check-in was excellent. Room was ready when we arrived. Staff was very friendly. Helped with maps and directions and best places to eat. We liked the fact that discounts were provided for several attractions.
The hotel is perfectly located in the city center. The staff are nothing but helpful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are modern and very comfortable, and I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Barcelona!
The hotel is great. What I loved the most:
- the position, very calm and beautiful district of Barcelona, outside of the biggest rush but still near city center - we were moving mostly walking
- quality-price ratio
- friendly staff
Very nice hotel and room in a residential area of Barcelona. Walking distance to La Sagrada Familia which is nice and restaurants outside the touristy area. Metro stop about 4 minutes walk which made it nice to get to the City Centre.
Location was brilliant! It was right in the city center which made it easier for us to just walk around and experience the barcelona culture.
Hotel staff very helpfull and sweet. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
good price for the overrated Barcelona hotel in the city center , very comfortable bed
private parking for 15€/night (you need to reserve)
very efficient bike rental service from another company
close to metro and bus
In Barcelona when you decide to be in the city center, unfortunately you don't look for a high standard hotel so when you book this kind of hôtel you are just expecting the minimum... This is what it is !
