Staff were lovely and accommodating, liked the rooms, bathroom was roomy, sufficient storage with a lock drawer inside a lockable wardrobe. Little patio was great, we sat out lots by the small pool. Breakfasts had variety. I enjoyed the pancakes, choice of eggs, fruit, juices, coffee in real pots, or Balinese breakfast. Overall, great quality for what we paid!

Such a quiet little villa tucked back on a side street. The restaurant food was incredible! The owner is Italian and apparently has an Italian chef, the pasta was so good... Homemade raviolis! Daily breakfast is not included, it's good but a bit pricey for the area. We were surprised to learn they had upgraded our room because we were staying for 8 nights with kids, they put us in the biggest villa which was very nice and airy. The bathroom was very cool, open air! The kids loved the bunnies and cats that lived onsite. The pool was nice after a day at the beach. The staff was lovely, the owner was warm and welcoming too!

Blue Earth Village, hotel in Amed

Located in Amed, a few steps from Jemeluk Beach, Blue Earth Village provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness center and a garden.

This is an exceptional eco hotel/resort. Our room was wonderful, super clean and spacious, cold ac, really cool outdoor bathroom/shower. The property is huge so our room felt very private. I really enjoyed the onsite yoga class with Marta. But I have to say, the best part of this resort is the incredible restaurant. The food is outstanding. I have worked in restaurants and hospitality my entire life and this restaurant was a 10/10.

I liked this hotel (Amed Dream Ibus Beach), the staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to help where possible ie finding me some fins for snorkelling. The room was perfect for what I needed with an amazing view, superb for the sunrise in the morning for photographers like myself. Two infinity swimming pools lay below and continuing down the steps brings you to the Spa and beach. The only downside of this hotel is the food could have been better, especially the breakfast which was quite bland. I hired a scooter from a local company which was a blessing though the road leading to the hotel is very poor with potholes - no fault to the hotel. There are a number of local amenities close by including Sunset Point Beach Club and various good restaurants. Venturing further into Amed town I stumbled on a gem of a spa and massage establishment called Amed Bali Spa which I would highly recommend - a full body massage for 1 hour for approximately £7.00 (140,000IDR) Close by is Lipah Beach (about 7 mins drive/ride) which is perfect for snorkelling and in the opposite direction about 2 mins is Japanese Ship Wreck Point. In summary, I would recommend this hotel though transport is definitely a requirement.

Loved it was family run .

Loved it was family run . They gather around the table near the pool and are friendly but give you privacy. One person in particular was very helpful. Bayu was our bike rider that took me to Tirtaganga. My husband lost his phone on that journey. We traced it and Bayu worked hard to find it then drove back to Tirtaganga to deliver. He was so helpful and lovely. Loved the traditional Salt gathering process at the property. The salt taste great too. Recycled doors and Timbers have been use to construct Villa, very organic and well made. Great view from pool Love it

I loved the peace and serenity of Amed surrounded by beautiful scenery where the mountains meet the sea. Not a lot of traffic and noone to hassle you. The main attraction in Amed is the diving and snorkelling with plenty of businesses offering these activities. Shopping wise is very minimal but enough restaurants to choose from. The beaches are not sandy but instead covered in black pebbles and rocks so a good idea to take along some water shoes as this can be difficult to walk on and very hot. We loved our time in Amed and will definately go back. If feeling fit enough you can walk between beaches but it is very hilly and no walk paths inbetween.

I think Amed is great for younger travelers who want simple accommodation by the beach, snorkel/dive/party. If you’re older spend more money and find a cliff top hotel like Blue Moon, (it’s awesome! Get one of the 3 Angel Villas). Perfect ocean views living in Mediterranean/Balinese style villas hanging from the cliff top. Great food! The views over the ocean to Lombok while swimming in the infinity pool memorable.

Probably our best stay in Bali! Staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. This is where are the tours go to go snorkeling... in front of this hotel. the restaurant is solid and can serve good non-spicy food! We stayed 4 nights and didn't really leave except to walk 3 minutes to Blue Earth Village (every night) for great food and an amazing mountain and sunset view. We normally cram a lot into a few days, but there's no need to go anywhere when you're already at the best place!

very nice place, reminds me the movie eat pray love haha but a bit wild. it’s in the middle of woods if you are okay with some “pet” visitors so no problem. I’m too afraid of insects and stuff so owner was really kind and put me in his second hotel bali sari homestay. it’s very nice quite place right at the beach. I love it. so depends on you I recommend both places but for different people :) owner is very good person and very kind. helping with everything, respectful
